An online acquaintance, who goes by mojo and Affinity, drew this wonderfully languid character for the CBR design contest going on, and I just loved the fluidity of the sketch. I tried to recreate the feeling here for his "Wonder Beaver" (yeah, don't ask).

The hat really is fun. I was totally inspired by Adrian Alphona of Runaways, with Molly's hats. Have you seen his work? I think you'd really enjoy it, especially in Volume 2. I really haven't seen anything like it anywhere else.
I also strike you for a Brian K. Vaughan fan; am I right?
Hmm, I'm not much of a Vaughn fan, in the sense that I can't recall any of the books he's written, so I must not be!
