I lied. I couldn't leave it alone as I thought I needed to get more definition into the shading of his neck - it just looked so flat (well, flatter than I want it to be, considering all the flat color fields in this series).
This is just...incredible! I love the texture of the beard and the gently weathered face.
I wish I could have you come out here for Ren Faire sometime and draw some of my friends. They have the best faces! Full of character and emotion and stories just ready to fall from their lips. You'd have a blast and could probably make bank selling portraits.
